Help Us Bring Hope Road Home
A once-in-a-generation opportunity to give adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities a permanent home — and we're $85,000 away from making it happen.
Why Hope Road
Better Together has been presented with an extraordinary opportunity to purchase the former House of Hope campus — a beautiful 40-acre property in Traverse City.
Because the current owners believe deeply in Better Together's mission, they have chosen to offer the property for $2 million — half of its $4 million appraised value.
This remarkable opportunity gives our community the chance to create something that has long been needed: a place where adults living with disabilities and their families can find connection, opportunity, and hope for generations to come.
Our Vision
The Hope Road campus will allow Better Together to grow intentionally over time, creating a continuum of opportunities that supports participants throughout adulthood.
A Place to Gather
Launch programming on the Hope Road campus, expanding the activities, friendships, recreation, and community experiences participants already know and love while welcoming even more individuals and families.
A Place to Learn and Grow
Expand opportunities through workforce development, life skills, creative arts, recreation, wellness, and community programming that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful lives.
A Place to Call Home
Develop an inclusive residential community where adults living with disabilities can live, build lifelong relationships, and thrive in a supportive environment designed with their needs, dreams, and independence in mind.
