Self Determination Conference
This conference is presented by the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan. Persons with lived experiences and their families can attend the conference at no charge.

OPEN CLUB AND FOLK DANCING
This Saturday we are offering ALL ABILITIES Folk Dancing with Kelsey Brunell starting at 2:00pm. Bring your family and friends - NO previous dance experience required. We will learn square, line, contras and circle dancing. ALL ARE WELCOME!

We are hosting a free virtual webinar that has much to offer for all of us that provide care and support for an adult with a disability. It will help to answer that difficult question that we all worry about, "What will happen when I can no longer provide care?"
The virtual webinar entitled Their Tomorrow Starts with our Choices Today is put on by Caring Tide Disability Planning. It outlines the components of the Dani Plan.
Join us at 6pm for a light dinner, followed by the webinar at 7pm. Open Club is available for your loved ones!

Please arrive by 3:15 for check-in as curling begins promptly at 3:30pm.
The club provides ALL curling equipment. They provide booties that slip over your shoes. They are very stabilizing. When you walk on the lanes it is like walking on a regular floor with shoes on – no slipping or sliding. They also have helmets available.
Wear tennis shoes or something similar. I wear slip-ons/no-tie shoes and those work fine. No boots, heels, or flip-flops. Wear warm clothing, a hat and gloves/mittens are a plus.
The Club itself has different areas from which you may watch the players curl. They are WARM! You are allowed to bring in any food or drink you wish. BK, Wendy’s, and 3 different coffee shops are in the same parking lot, and some pizza places are nearby. You could even have them deliver!
